As every couple is special and unique, we at Shadowland feel you deserve your time to shine even after your Big Day has come and gone. With that being said, we would love to feature your Shadowland wedding or Southwest Michigan beach engagement in our Real Weddings section!

If you would like your story or picture(s) to be considered for publication, you (or your photographer) can send color or B&W images to Ashley at awall@sbshadowland.org.

Featured weddings generally have occurred in the Shadowland Ballroom within the past year. This may include Silver Beach Carousel, Whirlpool Fountain, and Silver Beach Park photographs as well. Engagement sessions are asked to have been taken in Southwest Michigan. Ideally the engagement photographs include a few beach shots (whether they be on Silver, Tiscornia, Weko, or any other SWMI beach), but other local locations (Downtown St. Joseph, Benton Harbor’s Art District, various vineyards, etc.) are welcomed! Submission Guidelines:

• Your information- Your name, your fiancé’s name, the date and location of the event
• Your images- Guidelines found below
• Your description- Include your wedding inspiration/vision, unique details that you infused, any DIY projects that you did, your vows, etc. The more information you give us, the better!
• Your vendors- Please list all vendors who serviced your wedding. (A photography credit MUST be included to allow your images on the blog.)

Image Guidelines:

• Submit 25-50 images for engagement sessions, rehearsal dinners, showers, photo shoots, etc.
• Submit 50-100 images for weddings
• Images must be separated individually (no collages or multi-image layouts)
• Images must be at least 900 pixels wide/high to accommodate our blog width
• Images cannot be branded with a logo or watermark

To be featured on Shadowland, please email awall@sbshadowland.org with your wedding location and date in the subject line. (For example, Subject: Tiscornia Park, June 27, 2014.)

If available, a link to your Wedding Webpage would also be ideal to include.
